COZMO & APOLLO

These two high-energy kittens are absolutely inseparable, practically vibrating with a chaotic love that keeps them glued to each other’s side day and night.

Cosmo, the black-and-white furball, is the sweetest little soul you’ll ever meet, even if he is a total scaredy-cat who jumps at his own shadow.

His partner in crime, however, is a white-and-grey miniature tiger who is completely fearless and absolutely terrified of nothing. (Above)They both have bottomless pits for stomachs, and while there is always a bowl of hard kibble out for them, they stubbornly insist on getting their soft food exactly when they want it. When the little grey-and-white tiger gets “hangry,” all bets are off—he will fiercely strong-arm my leg like it’s a giant piece of chicken, or he’ll start playfully beating up poor, sweet Cosmo until I finally surrender, yell “enough!”, and pop open a can of their favorite wet food to bring peace back to the house.

Once their bellies are full, Apollo immediately sets his sights on his next big adventure: conquering the backyard. But this fearless little explorer has a bad habit of leaving the house spotlessly clean and returning blacker than the last time, fresh off a chaotic session of jumping around in the dirt.

Luckily for him, Cosmo absolutely despises being dirty. The second the mud-covered miniature tiger trots back inside, Cosmo’s neat-freak instincts kick in, and he immediately runs a full-service grooming salon to scrub both himself and his filthy brother back to perfection.

Truth be told, Apollo completely loves his “lick downs”—he has basically hacked the system, getting as dirty as possible just so Cosmo will give him a free, all-inclusive spa treatment!

Cosmo takes his grooming duties so seriously that he’ll lick and lick and lick until his own batteries hit zero and he passes out. One time when Apollo wasn’t feeling well, sweet nurse Cosmo stayed on duty for so long that he actually fell asleep standing up, leaning right against Apollo in the sweetest, most selfless display of brotherly devotion.

We originally figured that as they got older they wouldn’t like each other quite as much, but nope! These two are completely inseparable bonded soulmates for life. They go outside together, eat together, and sleep together; they literally never leave each other’s side.

And despite being a total scaredy-cat when something spooks him, sweet Cosmo has the most trusting heart in the world—he will flop right over and insist on belly rubs like no cat I’ve ever met before.

When it comes to naptime, they used to stubbornly jam themselves into their cat house—a space way too small for both of them, but they insisted on squeezing in together anyway. Lately, though, they’ve upgraded to taking over the giant beds upstairs.

On chilly days, they fold right into each other in a tight, cozy furry heap. But when they are hot or completely exhausted after a long day of running the house, they stretch all the way out on their backs and sprawl out straight like actual humans.

No matter how much dirt Apollo tracks in or how much soft food they demand, these two chaos monsters are an irreplaceable package deal!
